I was looking forward to watching this last Match before Covid 19 and am glad I'm able to despite the movies still being shut down.
Forgot about Greyhound. Watched that a week or two ago and it was pretty good.

I liked it, and enjoyed the CGI (much like I did Midway). I wish Hank's character had had more backstory.

My wife did not like it. Elizabeth Shue made a very token appearance. Not a chick flick in the least.

Watched The Big Ugly couple nights ago. Easily the worst movie I've seen in 10 years. To base because it had some good actors and premise had potential.

Seriously seriously bad

I enjoyed it. It was really nice to watch a new movie finally!

Funny my wife didn't like it either but I enjoyed it. Next movie it'll be her turn to choose so it'll definitely be a chick flick and it'll be my turn to tortured!

We finally watched Richard Jewell last night. I thought it was very good.

I tried watching The Old Guard this weekend. I fell asleep, 3 times. Entertaining I suppose, but not enough to keep me awake. Side note: my nap(s) were most enjoyable.

Saw Vanished this week. Not good. "The 2nd" was better but poor fighting scenes. Nothing worse than watching a Green Beret and Delta force guy that can't finish.

Watched Mulan last night. Family and I enjoyed it. Really good cast of a who's who of Chinese star actors.

Same. It was enjoyable but I liked the animated version much better. There was more character development, a love story, and humor. This one was too serious and things we liked about the animated movie such as songs were not there. Enjoyable nonetheless but not a great live action remake compared to Aladdin, Lion King, etc.

Thanks.

My in laws are coming over for a BBQ later so once we're all full and settling down with our drinks and desserts I'll suggest for us to watch this.

My kids have been looking forward to seeing it and I didn't realize it's out already!

Watched insomnia ans older Christopher Nolan film with al pacino, Robin Williams and Hillary swank. Pretty decent but not his usual, pretty straight forward crime drama.

My wife and I have been on a documentary kick lately.

We watched "The Inventor: Out For Blood In Silicon Valley" about Elizabeth Holmes a few nights ago and just finished "Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief".

Both were excellent in their own way-- and there are some serious "WTF?" moments in each.

Both recommended-- maybe the Elizabeth Holmes one a tiny bit more than the Scientology one.
