Totally non cozy nor premium feeling. I had a feeling this was going to be the outcome seeing what they've been doing to the designs the last few years.

I like how he describes the old school method of drawing the designed, etc. Do you all remember when the G01 first appeared? They had Calvin Luk everywhere explaining the details of his design and the flow of the lines as well as its aggressiveness. None of that with this. They truly have embraced this minimalist design concept. It doesn't look like a performance vehicle and the M50 badge on it looks out of place.
It lacks refinement and elegance imo.The small details and design flourishes that set a premium car apart from a mundane car. It’s kinda following Tesla, in being focused on tech, at the expenses of quality.

That said, it’s funny, as the reviewer in the Aus video I posted above suggests this is the most “elegent” X3 exterior ever. lol Very bizarre….

Honestly the flipper switch is excellent. First used one on a rental 4 series convertible and loved it, and now have the crystal one on my iX and love it even more.

My local dealer indicated that pricing guides should be available in early July, so they will take orders then.

Thank you, Jimmy. I thought the current model do. Anyway, it's good to know. I can't wait to see it in person and check out the seats beside the test drive.

Yes, they should fix the grille. Make it 3D like the new 5 series.

Fuck the grill, they should start by making the interior at least somewhat attractive...

I wonder if a deposit lands you on a list first.

The G01 can recline the rear seat to create more trunk space or a more relaxed back rest angle. It’s activated by a button on the door sides of the rear seat trim.

Kiss of death: "It could be worse!" I think Mazda/Acura wants their kidnapped designer back!

My next car will be any car make (luxury or otherwise) whose motto is, "we try harder!"

No. Mercedes is too unreliable these days. They were better as recent as 8 years ago!

My wife drives a MB C class 2017. It is now 7 years old. The car has been troubled free from the day we bought it. We bring it to the dealer for service every year. I guess if you follow that way, any German car should be good. I don't want to brag about these things since nobody knows what will happen. I love the car, except I find the seats are a bit hard. I hope the new BMW X3 seats are better.

Need the car for Dec 2025, so have a little bit of time.
As for now it will be an all-black config.

Have to see it in real, also some other colours, like the arctic race blue or sophisto grey. Red is nice, but to much for a company car :-/ got to get a more decent colour.

If it does not convince me in real, I will probably go for another XC60 phev, which is doing a great job, just sometimes a little bit boring interior and the lack of some technical stuff like mobile phone as key.
