It's different grayscales. The colors are all removed.

i just adjusted the yellow level in one of the BW filter presets to give it a bit more of an earthy tinge. It does look brown-ish, but that was my goal.

I'm pretty sure the theme is "Black and White" not "different shades of grayscale" or "ALMOST Black and White"

don't act like the man is holding you down (and yes that was my poor attempt at a racial PUN)... just try to read the directions a little better next time.
