i have a 335 and just drive fast everywhere whenever i am on an express way and no traffic i am flying by everyone and noone catches up or passes me i am not trying to race anyone just get to my destination fast without pissing people off or driving stupid fast as i like to call it..you know those crazy weavers in honda civcs or or other econo cars that should be going that fast to begin with let alone weaving so much they move 1/4 -1/2 in the lane past the lane they wanted to be in allmost hitting cars as they close gaps crap like that pisses me off like none other!!!! the only time i rage is when i am behind someone on this 55mph zone with 2 lanes and 2 cars usually one a minivan is just cruising in the left hand lane next to some other car going 50-57 that shit drives me crazy!!!! all the 335 drivers i have seen except for one drive pretty slow and cruise...its not like i see them flying by me on a regular basis in mine or when i am in another car....

I wasnt going to add anything but this thread just sounds like 335i bashing to me. I think there is something to be said for the latest and greatest 3ser.

1. Several very reputable car mags have called the 335i the best all around car in the world
2. From a modding stand point this car is literally a wet dream come true for many BMW fans. I just read latest on the Procede V2...380whp!
3. For everyday driving (without getting on a track) the 335i's performance is almost as good as the outgoing M3....

Anyway, the list goes on. You guys are making it sound like the 335i is just like any other car when in fact it is a very special automobile. I dont plan on ever owning a 335i(I already have a deposite for the new M)and I am trying not to be a fanboy here. But the 335i is an awesome car and probably will go down in history as one of the best iterations of the 3ser to date.

Plus, you think its bad now...just wait for the 135i to hit the scene...same engine, smaller/LIGHTER, and faster! Fun times for BMW!

Your Welcome! I see so much of the "My 335 Blah Blah Blah..." that it kind makes me a little dizzy.

I love the 335, I applaud BMW for finally building a Ford Mustang I want to own.

But I have no illusions about its performance envelope. It's a great car sure enough, but I have no Illusions...

I love BMWs... I loved the first 2002 I rode in, I loved the 540 the Buddy had in Tampa... I couldn't freaking be happier with my 335, BUT It's NOT gods gift to Motoring and I know this...

On the flip side, all of us here who do own other high performance cars or motorcycles can say the same about "all" Vette and M owners and other (X brand) cars/models. For example I ride a Suzuki Hayabusa. Suspension, brakes, full carbon-fiber exhaust, powercommander, cam, sprocket, close ratio trans. Bike is putting down just a tad under 190hp and 106ftlb of tq. to the wheels. So should I flame all the supercharged/turbo vette owners just cause they think they have something to show me?


BTW Honda owners(around here) seem to be the biggest wannabe racers.

I just saw this thread, and to be honest where I live it's the other way around. People come up to me all the time wanting to race and I don't even bother with them.

I will say to the OP though, it would be a really good race between a 335 with a piggyback and the Z4M.

Kind of a general statement isn't it? "what's up with 335 drivers" ? That's like saying, "what's up with those black people, or asians, or whites" A little bit of a stereotype don't you think? I personally haven't encountered anybody that does that in a 335, but maybe it's different where you live. I'd say there are ace-holes who drive all makes/models, I personally get a lot of vettes that try to mess with me like they have something to prove, so it goes both ways.

You want to have fun then go on the 'ring. Go to Mosport and drive Formula 4. Make love to your woman or man or both (if that is what you like). Go to an amusement park. Go to the beach. Don't be an idiot and race on the street.

I am bored with 335i threads that talk about "racing" this or that. Don't be an idiot. Do not race on the street. It is because of these street racing idiots that our speed limits are down to 100kph on the highways. These street racing idiots give the "speed kills" crowd more ammo. Speed does not kill.
