I bought a 14" diameter bar stool pad to go over it. I hope it helps. Right now the ~$35 bar stool I bought at Walmart is more comfy to sit on than this $160 beast.

Shame, my roller stool craftsman was like $30 at ace hardware and is super comfy to sit on.

Now that my sons JCW r53 we bought as a project 3 weeks ago runs right with no check engine light, I removed the non working MINI iPod adapter to get the factory Sirius back working on it and installed an aux jack last night. On the way back from returning him to his mom’s for the week, I stopped by Walmart and got a 3 foot aux cable, lightning to headphone adapter, and this $10 magnetic /pop socket mount that comes with two plates, small for iPod and larger for phones.

In addition to the non-working iPod adapter, His car also came with a pre broken MINI accessory cup holder, so I used the remnant as a base and removed the threaded stud part from the vent mount. Combine the two and…

Tada! A useful upcycle that only cost me 15 minutes to make, $10 in parts and at least looks like it’s conceivably a period dealer accessory.

I bought a 14" diameter bar stool pad off Amazon and it fit perfectly and makes it much more comfy. Still, for that kind of money, you'd think they could have included more padding on an otherwise rock solid stool.

I know it says no weapons and with my inept home gardening and cleaning skills these might be skirting the edge of that limit but I'm testing the mods.

Got two of these.

Also bought my airline ticket to Thailand next January. Dayum prices have risen. But I found one non-stop from Vancouver and had to try that. One looooooooong (15 hours) flight versus two long flights.

Mind if I ask make, model and where you purchased this from? Looks amazing - would you recommend it?

It's from Amazon, I'll add link below. The chair is pretty good so far. Kind of a pain to put together alone because it's heavy but was able get it done. It seems very sturdy and says could hold up to 400lbs. I'm 180lbs but liked the idea of the footrest, tilt back and the build seemed quality. It's pretty comfortable as well.

I'm happy with this model but thinking I maybe should have gotten the one 9291 with the diamond quilting as that can lay back like 180 degrees where this one is like 170. I sound like a diva I know but still it seems cool. This model does have perforated holes which I think could be good if it's hot and not sure If the other model has that.

I have a CJ with the 304 and 3spd. Renegade version that had all the best options at the time. Hate the thing and wish I could sell it. But it's been in the wife's family since new so I'm stuck keeping it. I've driven it maybe 200-300 miles in the last 10+ years, wife won't drive it. I even paid for a restoration of it thinking I would use it but never do. Main reason is its exhaust burns my eyes. I've thought about getting cats put on to see if it would help. It's gone up in value so much I think the wife is close to letting it go.

Like you said older jeep parts are cheap. Easy to work on as well. I drive pickups all week long so I think that kills the fun for me.

I’ve been using my Ryobi 40V around the house for a couple years or so now. It’s been excellent. Power head with weed eater, shrub trimmer, edger, and blower attachments. (Don’t bother with with blower attachment). Standalone leaf blower and chainsaw, too. They’ve been fantastic. Be sure to have two batteries on hand. I can typically weed eat, edge, and blow on one battery, but there have been some bigger projects that would have been frustrating had I not had a charged back up.

Side note. Don’t bother with gas Ryobi. Super finicky and unreliable. I splurged the extra coin on my Ryobi pressure washer to get the one with a Honda motor and wayyy better.
