Even RAM get's the anxiety issue. I'm a RAM fan, we have a 1500 ecoDiesel that we love, I don't see moving into the EV ever but a funny ad.

I guess I don't get why Tesla can't make a few decent hardware feature updates after many years of producing an identical car.

Give people the option of a heads up display on the Model3, Apple Carplay, perhaps an optional Bose Stereo and seat material like BMW Sensafin not their vegan BS... as far as the outside, they all look like an appliance... Seems like 100% of their focus is SW which makes sense because on the production side that has no cost and they can charge people obscene amounts for BS features.

I'd go with that a Prius looks clumsy and not dissimilar much to the back of a bus, chosen by some Hollywood actors who want to be seen as responsible 'goodies'.

I'm all for tesla updating the interiors. They did some minor stuff on the S and X but I think they should do more and update the 3 and Y.

However the specific stuff you mentioned are definitely things I don't find very important. Most cars still don't have heads up displays. I mean even BMW didn't start offering them until recently even though GM has been doing it since forever.

Carplay... I though I would miss this also when I got my Tesla. I don't. I think the Tesla navigation is really good and better than what I can in carplay. Although I am also not super picky about what music app I use. I know some people have all kinds of play lists and stuff. I don't so I'm fine using the standard Tesla player. I also think the "premium" sound system sounds really good. I have no idea who makes it, but it sounds better than any Bose system I've had and I've had a few cars with Bose.

Lastly... I have not been in a newer BMW so I'm not sure how Sensafin is. However the BMW pleather from my days was just horrible. It was like fucking rhinoceros skin or something. Hard rubbery nasty stuff. Whatever Tesla uses (at least in the white interior since that's all I've had) is extremely soft and nice feeling. I wish BMW was using something like that back when I had a 128i.

News coming in more often now over here that EV sales are continuing their downward spiral in sales as there are serious doubts about battery performance longevity, lack of charge points leading to massive queues with arguments and worries about if the things can indeed be sold on.
More and more are going safe and buying gas cars.

Actually they’re saying buying a second hand ev might be a better choice than buying new.

We’re moving foward with this ev transition lol.

Idk what articles you wanna find that’ll give you hope that it’s not.

It’s gonna happen. Accept it already guys lol

This is a nothing article that mentions nothing about lower sales and all the used warnings apply to any used vehicle other than yeah make sure it has a battery.

What the hell does this have to do with the rice of tea in China?

And I ask as an adamant "Toyoda was right and PHEV's will win the medium term battle" believer.

Yes I agree specifically 3 and Y... but you need to think about some things.

You said heads up... well most other cars also have a instrument cluster in front of the steering wheel lol...

Carplay - this is more of a flexibility thing... at this present time, Tesla removed any ability to use Waze... well good luck then. Let me choose my apps... now they can remove and add as they wish. That's why they wont give people this ability they want to control sw and apps.

Sensafin is the upscale X5 fake leather which actually feels like real leather and outside of smell has no discernible difference... Sensatec which is in the 3 and below is very subpar imho.

I thought they reviewed the data and charged the father with attempted murder because he purposefully drove over the cliff. Not the self-driving software.
