This guy is funny. I almost want to meet him, truly one of a kind. But seriously dude, cops buy and use crown vics not because they are some awesome supercar. It's because they 1.) are American made, 2.) cheap to purchase and maintain and 3.) cheap.

I seen a newer jag type r at the coronado speed fest a few months back...nice car, but they are heavy. No way in hell would you beat a 335 over a nice mountain pass.

Jags loses like 65% of its value in the first three years, and theres a reason for it... From what i remember, it scores poor on side impact collison. Its a Ford, enjoy some of the electronics breaking, etc.

I dont care if it has 400hp. Its a five year old car. If you wanted raw performance, buy a used evo or sti.

The car is definitely rare and theres a dam good reason why.....noone wanted it in the first place...
+1...also, this guy needs to stop posting the title in capitals for a frcking old jag...

Let's ignore the troll......he'll go away. Funny he spends the time here instead of driving his fine automobile.

Admin plz show this fool the door and give him the boot.
Maybe he has bmw envy - couldn't afford it so bought the $16k jag.

Hey, he's proud of this car - congrats dude, but you should share your joy in a jag forum, not here as most people do not care.

On the positive side, that's a good price for what you get. Enjoy it while you wait for the car you really want .

Hmm. at first I found my self actually defending this guy, but now I'm wondering why he even started this thread:

He also says: JAGs are more reliable than Benz and BMW thanks to FORD. Why do cops drive CROWN Vics ? Check JD Powers Reports Peeps.

That just made me ask myself this: why am I even reading this? Perhaps for entertainment value?

I traded in a 1999 Volvo S80 T6 with about 75K miles on it a few years ago. It was a great car back in its day, but pretty ragged out. I thought to myself, "who the hell would want to own this beast now?"

Now I know.
