Actually, I think the M50 is roughly 4.2 secs and the 30 model is roughly 6.0 secs.
These are the figures quoted for the European M50 (theoretically) - also evidently the engine is rated at 393 bhp but reading an article about BMW engines they grossly underrate the BHP and the engine makes more than stated- so not sure this helps with pricing brackets for European governments that is why they do it but had no idea about that.

0-20 mph (s): 1
0-30 mph (s):1.5
0-40 mph (s):2.4
0-50 mph (s):3.5
0-60 mph (s):4.6
0-70 mph (s):6
0-80 mph (s):7.8
0-90 mph (s):9.8
0-100 mph (s):12.3
0-110 mph (s):15.2
0-120 mph (s):18.7
0-130 mph (s):23.2
0-140 mph (s):29.3
0-150 mph (s):38.3

155 mph electronically limited but remove that and engine can get to 175mph (within safety limits of engine)

European figures from BMW on acceleration are typically 0-100kph aka 0-62mph. US BMW acceleration numbers are typically 0-60mph. Hence, BMW claimed M50 on BMW USA web is 0-60mph in 4.4, and M50 UK web is 0-62mph (0-100kph) in 4.6.

I’m leasing the 2024 X3 M40i and was surprised to see the flat sheet metal on the 2025 model! I Walking around it and found that it looked better in person! But I’ll keep the the 2024, the character lines on the out side and the physical buttons on the inside are a huge selling point for me! My wife has the 2024 X1 and the touchscreen and operating system is a no go for me I like the control knob in the X3!
