Oh, jk, gotcha. I've got a Leatherman knife in my glovebox, it was a graduation gift from a couple of my grandparent's country friends. Very cool.

I'd have a cool Glock or Walther like you guys, but my parents are not cool with guns (despite both being raised in the country).

Ahhh, makes sense now. Was it changed to 0317 recently? Either way, that's some good stuff.

Yup, that isn't my mark 12 though. Mk 12 is a M16A1 lower with a Knights Armament upper, Leupold scope (can't recall the model) SPR Mk2? 3.5-10, then a Surefire supressor and muzzle adapter.

Not for a while. I had surgery last month. I've been a PIG for a while lol.

But a PIG isn't just someone who is waiting for a spot. There is a DSM course and a PIG course which eliminates the stalking and sneaking portion of SS school. It's 6-8 weeks, I think it 6 weeks now. It's much easier than the real thing, and you can still be in a STA (Surveillance and Target Acquisition Platoon, aka Scout Snipers) as a PIG, even if you aren't a PIG, you can be with STA. My buddy Turner was in STA for 6 months even though he is a machine gunner.

Obviously the PIGs aren't as respected, but damn once your a HOG... they know some crazy fun shit, but once you've been with STA for a while you learn 99% of the skills.
