I think The F430 today isn't too far different than what the GT4 will be priced in 10 years. F430 may even be cheaper depending on where Porsche goes in the future with manual transmission cars. F430 is a beauty though. |

True but maintenance and parts for the F430 will still be way higher. And realistically the Cayman GTS would be more in my range since the GT4 likely won't ever drop in price.

Realistic but high priced: Lots of them! The most expensive and most awesome ones are - Lotus Exige, Lotus Esprit V8 TT, CLK 63 AMG BS, NSX (post 1997), Boxster Spyder (both 2011 and the current one), TT-RS, and many many many more. Of course, I can never posses all of these but owning at least two of these would leave me 100% content.
Unrealistic because I won't find one or a good example or a reasonably priced one for a decent example: Corolla GT-S (Eight-Six), Jaguar E Type, and 240Z Datsun. Unrealistic because of importing headaches (and possibly too expensive): TVR Tuscan Speed Six, TVR Cerbera 4.5 LW, R34 Skyline GTR V Spec 2 Nur , Exige V6 Cup (R), and Lancer Evolution VI TME Unrealistic 100%: Venturi Atlantique 400 GT, Lotus Esprit Sport 350, CLK DTM AMG, Cayman GT4 (I don't think I can stomach getting one at 150k+ USD), Koenigsegg One:1, Toyota 2000GT, and Lamborghini Miura. I like the Shelby Series 1 too. Of course, a lot of other great cars from before the 90's that are worth too much are in here too like the first Skyline GT-R and Ferrari 250GTO. Unrealistic because it wasn't made: Tommy Kaira ZZ-II...I fell in love with since seeing it in Gran Turismo. I didn't know or care about cars/driving then but I knew it was awesome. 542hp + mid engine + rear biased AWD (from R34 GT-R). How I wish Tommy produced these...what ASL did with this concept is a blashphemy! Ironically, no BMWs...well, I love my 1er a lot if that counts as a "dream." Dreams aren't exactly real IMO. Once you achieve it, it's no longer a dream. |

Great to see all the P1 love in here.
1) McLaren P14, P15, etc. 2) McLaren F1, Ferrari F50. Prices are just too insane, will likely keep growing for the rest of my lifetime. Gratuitous P1 pic. |

2006-2007 Ford GT. Love the way the gas tank was manufactured.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
