Thanks for the welcome back. I had started to wonder if somebody just didn't like April Fools Day jokes. I hadn't really thought about April Fools Day not being observed in other countries.

It was a technical glitch as I had figured (and indicated) when it first occurred. I just didn't know what the glitch was until after I had already gone to bed last night.

And for any who don't like April Fools Day jokes, I appologize. What does it take to make you laugh?

I think somebody didn't like the joke, or just doesn't like my posts in this forum, saying I have posted too much BS. The only BS I can think of that I have posted was all late on 3/31/07 and on 4/1/07. It was for an April Fools Day joke. I thought it was funny.

Last night, I did start to think I had been blocked from being able to activate my account. I'm glad it was really a simple solution. I actually felt bad about it, wondering what I did that offended so much. Now, I can imagine how it would feel for somebody who has thousands of posts if they got banned.

Disclaimer: I hope to not be held responsible for how my posts may offend those who do not like what I have to say. I also hope that I don't get too bent out of shape over the opinions of others.

I don't know how much of it was playing along with the gag, and how much of it was real, but after being on the receiving end of male opinions of female pictures, I have a better idea of why some women may not want to tell they are women, and especially why they would never post a picture of themselves.

And Astra, after this revelation I support your not putting up any more pictures of yourself.

As a guy I would rather know what the women look like who's posts I read/reply to. But if I were a woman, I wouldn't do it here. Maybe if we all come to be more careful about our comments on women's looks, then we might get more female participation. As it is, it would seem unlikely that more women would put there own pictures forward. In a non-auto forum that I joined last night, a substantial majority of members are women. And that seems to go along with the reality that more women take an interest in Christianity than do men.

I wouldn't want these two girls who work in the same building I do to see some of the posts that have appeared here. Hopefully they were in jest as was the whole intent of the thread.
