First World Problems

I decided to do some vehicle work the other day, when in fact I should have hired a peasant since my time is more valuable. Either way, because of this, I ended up dropping my giant 1/2'' breaker bar on my big toe.

Had to work from home because I couldn't walk yesterday. Took me 15 minutes to walk from the parking lot to my office.

First world problem? Nobody here rides a Rascal that I could commandeer for the day. Now I have to walk.

I recently discovered that I have an addiction problem with buying and accumulating cars. I never thought it was an issue until my wife told me its getting out of hand. The problem is, I don't like to sell any of my cars, I just want to keep buying more. So the count is 5 right now and I'm actively searching for the 6th.

Another problem is that my wife rarely drives and I kind of feel obligated to drive all of them as much as I can. The feeling is like walking the dogs. I have zero purpose to drive most of the time as I work at home.

My wife said that I must sell at least 2 cars and then "we" can consider getting another one. I feel like pissing her off a little and getting the 6th.

Why don't you get rid of a couple cars and get an exotic or something?

I have a mid life crisis uncle that recently bought a 560-4 and a 458. I drive either of those for about a week each month. After driving them for a few days, I discovered that I have no intention of owning and maintaining one. It's nice and all but I really don't like the attention and having the stress of owning one.

Good luck with that. The 1M is parked at my mother in law's house in Vancouver, if you can get past her, maybe you deserve to get the car.

I have that issue with camera gear. Topping $22k worth of gear and looking to buy a new lens this month. I keep telling myself I'll get around to selling off some stuff, but I never do. Can't remember the last time my 7D got used. Or my macro gear. I could sell half my stuff and never miss it.
