hope everyone saw it by now
but yea, Cerrone looked outstanding once again, would have liked to see him finish the fight but Stephens is tough dude and yea Jabouin was impressive, each fights he impresses me more KZ fight was nothing short of amazing, there wasnt a dull moment. I wont lie, I thought Poirier was going to wipe the matt w/ him but KZ brought it. He did look like he slowed down a tad but I think w/ his pace, I dont see who wouldnt I too dont see him at the Aldo level but yet who is, maybe KZ will surprise everyone like he just did a couple of days ago. I love that he actually had the balls to call him out though, so many other 145s have been saying they're not ready blah blah blah. The Maldonado fight was great too, epic body shots. Thought he had done enough to win but it was an extremely close fight. |

yea, I think he got too caught up in the mind games for that fight and that costed him big, if you notice Stephens tried doing the same thing but Cerrone didnt go for it, he kept it professional
I know you dont like the Diaz brothers but I think its partly due to a bad match up also, those guys are nightmares for any non wrestler |

I agree, if he didn't fight Nate's game, he may have won. But he got sucked into fighting a brawl, and it costed him the potential win.
I respect each of brothers as a fighter, but not a person.

There's nobody in this weight division more suited in facing Also at this point. KZ will bring it to him. He's been shocking everyone lately but you have to remeber, the big difference in this KZ compared to the older KZ is that he's smarter now, he's just not running into stuff and brawling like before. He's a more mindful fighter that can still take a lot of dmg. I too don't think he'll win but I think the match will be FOTN and potentially FOTY candidate. If things go past round 3, I'm certain Aldo will be gassed as well. KZ fights at a very constant pace and is always trying to finish. Last edited by Garduna; 05-18-2012 at 08:30 AM.. |

yea, there was supposedly some problems w/ weight and the person running the event told Nick that Braulio was way over weight (when he actually wasnt). Nick got all pissed off and left w/ out telling anyone, leaving Braulio on the mat. Pretty shitty situation, who knows what actually happened.
they are talking about trying to set it up again http://mmajunkie.com/news/28700/esti...widespread.mma |

jbj dui, too stupid of a move. his new ride is gone now, such a waste....... sigh, he's gonna need to learn from this mistake and not do it ever again. he's a father for god's sake.
Strikeforce Heav GP Finale Show: OMFG, the first fight was al plum thai clinch with knees and uppercuts. I'm surprised the dude in pink survived that long o_O! OMG Feijao ins beast mode. FUcking beautiful Knee and very quick transition with the sub for the win! Realy good fight between Thompson and Melendez. I had Thompson winning it tho. Will watch the main event when I get home from work tonight |

I wonder if that means he cant fight in Canada now, dont they have a law that doesnt let US citizens w/ DUIs?
Strikeforce show was good, Feijao looked great and I agree, I had Thompson winning the fight. Cormier was too much for Barnett |

Diaz got a year, the hearing was BS though, reminded me of the scene in Casino when de Niro goes for his license. They had their minds made up before they heard anything

Feijao looked great, I think he def deserves a title shot now.
The Melendez fight was really close but I also scored in his favour. I think we might see a 4th rematch between those two. The Cormier fight reminded me a lot of JDS v Big Country. Barnett showed a lot of heart but Cormier was just too good. Loved the slams! |

I hope there's no more josh thompson vs melendez. I'd like to see josh in the ufc tho.
Yeah, diaz got a year now. I doubt he'll be back in mma at this rate. Cromier vs Barnett was fucking awesome!!! |

i still think he should prob loose a lil belly fat and drop to 205, he would destroy but I agree w/ Garduna, 75 min el nino and thompson is enough, even though I thought thompson won, he's had his chance. Both need to go to the UFC asap |

lol thats hilarious!
did anyone see his so called apology before his management company took it down? the first two paragraphs were all me, me, me, me, people hate me, me, me, me what a bunch on BS, and he has the nerve to wonder why most people dont like him. it has nothing to do w/ his success or how easy he makes it look sometimes but rather how fake he comes across. like when he said this Quote:

Saw this yesterday, shit was awesome LOL!
As for Jones, his ability is retarded and I'm sure he'll be a champ for a very long time but he really does come off as a phony. Here's the link to the Press Conference for UFC 146. Streaming and it is happening now. Enjoy |

Yes that was a while ago and there's a lot of talk whether he's ready for another shot. I think he's definitely up there now.
That's gold! Quote:
I don't know why he doesn't just be himself. He seems like a decent guy, I'm sure everyone will see that. There's nothing wrong with being cocky/confident especially if you have the skills to back it up. He wants to be perceived as humble at the expensive of not being genuine. No doubt he'd have a stronger fan base this way. This sport is as real as it gets, if we wanted to watch something fake we'd watch wwe! |
