I was going to get a membership there because it was the only 24hr fitness center around. I talked to the manager about working out late and he said it would be ok to lift heavy because there wouldn’t be many people there late at night anyways. Then I noticed there were no barbells, no squat racks, and the dumb bells only went up to like 80lbs. I asked him about that. He said there weren’t any barbells anymore because clients found it intimidating. They got rid of the squat racks for the same reason but also because someone was upset that somebody else was lifting heavier than them. And the barbells? Well you can guess why they don’t go up to 120-150lbs.

Any of you ever experience during a clean bulk- at night when you still haven't hit your macros, and your jaw aches from chewing so much that sometimes you just leave the food halfway down your throat instead of swallowing the food right away so you could simply take a breather?

Clean bulking is so much harder than dirty bulk...takes forever to hit those numbers.

This is fake. It’s not a planet fitness policy and that’s not a planet fitness machine.

Wow 67 pages strong! I'm sure it's been said already but people who camp at the only station you need to finish your workout and they're not even using it for the exercise it's designed for.

Also, the social butterfly. I have a dude at the gym who, funny enough, has the guts to talk to women even while theyre with their boyfriends. One time, caught a glimpse of him asking and taking a selfie with a couple that were stretching on a mat. Super creepy..

That's why I no longer take the motorcycle on back/bi days . . . or the day after.

Should be using your abs to get the weight off of your hands/arms and back.

Agreed - shouldn't really have much weight on the arms - having said that, I have trouble extending and moving my arms after an intense arms day so I can see where he is coming from.

I avoid riding after legs day myself, just feel like I have much less control when my legs are tired.

IF I'm doing back/bi, how so I use my abs???

Preacher curls, not sure where abs would come into play
Standing curls, I actually crack my knees and take the weight in my thighs
For cable pull-downs, I have to hold on with something besides my abs. Same for rows

Hawkeye understood what I meant.

My comment is about when you ride your motorcycle. You shouldn't be putting weight on your wrists/arms/hands. Nor using your back to hold your torso up.

I know it's counter intuitive. I've been told to correct my posture for years because I have a tendency to slouch/hunch over being really tall. Then I started doing track days and my riding coaches are telling me I need to break that posture rule and hunch over supporting my upper body with my abs. When I do this, it does wonders for my riding as my arms are no longer fatigued and I'm able to ride my motorcycle more effectively.

Definitely understand the legs part too. I find myself squeezing my legs against the fuel tank all the time. Braking, both legs pinched in. Cornering/hanging off the bike, opposite leg pushed into the tank.

I do it so much that I have Stomp tank grip pads on my motorcycles and you can see me gripping the tank a lot with my leathers with the wear marks.

Gotcha.

If my low back hurts, getting on my cruiser is a great relief. I sit upright, arms extended almost perfect at the shoulders. It's the squeezing/twisting of hand controls. If your forearm spasms, there isn't much you can control at that point.

That may be the difference, both ZX and I are talking about sport bikes, definitely a different ride style.

As I was doing dips on a four-sided station facing center a gentleman donning the leggings proceeded to do pull-ups facing center right next to me. I thought at first I was on one of those gay hidden camera shows, but nope, he was just a douche.
So in general what annoys me is anyone who isn’t conscientious and ends up disturbing my homeostasis and the sanctity of gym etiquette and hygiene.
