No. All my cars in the garage with the exception of the family hauler are true blue manuals.

I don't care how fast a DCT or modern automatics can shift. I value more the tactility and the romance of manual driving. You can't beat that.

Not really. I have a little S2000 I can hop in if I get that urge. Riding a motorcycle would be another option.

Same. I don't miss it.

My C7Z is the last manual car i'll own. Once i sell this (not sure if it's this year or next), then it's no more manual forever.

If i lived near an area with twisties, or if i was a track go'er, then i'll keep some sort of manual car for that purpose. But street driving a manual car? Fuck that shit.

Waiting and hoping for this tech to make its way down into some affordable high-performance vehicles. Hey, a fella can dream, right?

I had an Acura TSX 6 speed for 9 years, then some overlap with this S2000 and don't think I would miss it too much when it's time to sell. I kind of preferred the flexibility a manual gives you while driving around, but not enough to miss out on a good car. I've also learned that it takes some skill and a ton of attention to drive a manual agressively without eventually damaging the transmission.

Love the control you get with manuals but a few years ago I swapped my manual Z4 3.0i M54 for a ZF auto E90 330i N52 as I was sitting in traffic a lot. Save my left leg!

DONT miss the crunchy 1st to 2nd in the Z4 or the silly kangaroo pull-aways (never did do the clutch delay delete...) .

DO miss the pure attachment and level of control and responsiveness. Even with XHP stage 3 on my auto it is still junk at changing for hills, corners or anything not a straight line. I dont have paddles and the steptronic shifter is balls.

I will definitely get another manual if it is a fun car. If it's a daily the auto wins. Sad to say!

I wouldn't mind a manual so long as the clutch pedal was light in operation.

Most of my vehicles over the last 30 years have been manual but with hip and knee issues I have switched to autos. I do miss shifting some when just out driving, not at all in the daily traffic.

Did the CDV delete on my M240, have not seen a difference, still get the surge at times when driving from a stop.

I miss driving a manual nearly every day. Actually just Monday-Friday, but then I get off work and drive one of my manual cars home. In 32 years of owning cars, every one of them has been a manual. I won't say I'll never switch but at this point I'm sort of stuck in my ways.

Same here! Have never driven anything but manual. As long as it’s offered by various manufacturers, I’ll continue rowing through the gears.

I agree. Not only skill but patience as well.

I feel like depending on the car you have, there comes a point where it just doesn't make sense to have it in a manual. There's many factors that determine what makes it a sensible buy or not, IMHO.

And i am living with that regret right now with my z06. I got the manual because the 8 speed auto GM put in these cars is garbage. However because i went the manual route, i couldn't/didn't want modify the car the way i really wanted to with these cars. The LT4 is bulletproof and i wanted to explore much more power with this car. But the manual held me back.

Had i went with the auto when i bought the car, my z06 would have close to 1000rwhp right now. And i wasted this opportunity with this platform to do that, because i went for the manual.

Manual transmissions are the worst! Antiquated anachronisms.
Studies show they lead to knee cancer from having to push in the clutch so often.
Please do yourself a favor and put them up for sale.
Especially E91s.
E91s with sport package and maintenance records.
Those are the worst!
Just awful.
I mean, you don't want cancer do you?

I get a small amount of VA disability for my knees but am able to drive my 718 and 911, even in some traffic. Worth checking out. The easiest shifting cars I’ve ever driven. Almost like driving an auto in that way. I can honestly say I’ve never missed a shift on either. Could be experience but I think it’s the cars.

I love driving a stick shift and it's something I would have a very hard time giving up. A while back I had a brief stint with a 528i but that only lasted about a year before I had to get back in a 6 speed.
