Despite their slogan, we don't know which border that is. I think it is South of the Canadian Border. Taco Bell is very Americanized. Please, a Crunchwrap supreme and cinnamon twists are Mexican? Their slogan is fooling nobody. Decent Mexican food for cheap is had at those portable Taco and Burrito stands on those trucks. If Chipotle floats your boat, eat it. Just know longer, wider burritos with more meat can be had for cheaper if you look around.

Wow it sounds to me like you haven't even been there since you don't know that sour cream is free. Yes guac is like $1.79 or something (I never get it) but I will gladly spend $6.29 for a burrito that will keep me full all day rather than $5-6 on a value meal at McDonalds that has probably more fat, cholesterol and just as much sodium and doesn't even taste 1/2 as good. And how dare you even compare fake powdered beef (which I like but its not even close to good meat) to Chipotle...

I eat food for how it tastes, not what it's supposed to be. Why does it matter that Chipotle doesn't taste like authentic Mexican food, or you can get better authentic Mexican food elsewhere? It's good and that's all that matters. Its like refusing to eat general tso's chicken because its not authentic chinese food, who cares? It tastes good, so I'm going to eat it

Understandable...but I'm tired of hearing that Chipotle isn't the "real thing." Of course it's not. It's merely a mexican styled fast food restaurant. The real mexican restaurants are always better than then a fast food chain, that's a given. That also works for Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Mediterranean etc. Almost all of us can agree on that, we don't need a thousand posts saying "the real stuff is better." This pretty much turned into a Chipotle lover's thread, lol.
