Yesterday I decided to grab lunch at Roy Rogers. I only like the place because I love the fact that they still use plain sliced pickles. Well yesterday, as I went to the salad bar- the worker wench decided to refill the salad bar and completely removed the plain pickles and replaced them with the rippled kind. I couldn't believe it!! WTF!!! I asked her if she had more plain sliced pickles and unfortunately said she didn't. I mean what kind of establishment runs out of plain sliced pickles?! Needless to say, I have no other choice but to cut ties with Roy Rogers.

Pickle cuts are important. Haters just don't understand.

Should I try to clean my grill brush as good as I can or just buy a new one. That can add up over the years.

Neither, just buy a new grill when it gets too dirty.

Speaking of grills, I'm waffling between gas and charcoal. We just had sunroom built with a decent porch out the front of it. I want to get a portable shelf to hang off the railing like the ones you see on boats and stick a small grill on it (Wifey and I don't need anything big). I'm thinking charcoal for flavor and ease of use, even though there's a bit of prep work and cleanup afterward.

I would buy both and just have the problem of which one to use. On a more serious note, I have both, but find myself using the charcoal grill when I'm not in a hurry. The gas one is great for the times I just want a quick, grilled meal. As I work from home, it tends to be lunches that are the gas and evening meals that use the charcoal. If I had to pick just one, the charcoal would be it for the flavor aspect of it. I actually use the side burner of my gas grill to light my charcoal chimney.

Are the chimney's worth it? Do they save a decent amount of time?

My first world problem the other day. It's pouring rain out, I'm driving my BMW, and I have a scolding hot coffee from Wawa in my cupholder. I go to pick it up and it's just too hot to drink or hold. I was so mad. How is a coffee so hot that you have to wait 5 minutes to drink it. Ruined my whole day

Dunkin Donuts coffee. Buy now, drink later. Takes 20 minutes to get to a drinkable temp.

I've learned that if I stop 30 minutes into my hour drive to work at McD's, my coffee is the perfect temperature when I finally sit down at my desk.

I was shooting a high school baseball game last night (photographer) and the opposing team scored 11 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning to go up 12-9.....

they scored 11 freaking runs when they were down 9-1...

one of the most epic meltdowns I had ever witnessed....

after the game, everyone looked like walking corpses....

got home, ate half a Jimmy John's Gargantuan sandwich, but when I looked in the refrigerator, there was no Orange Juice.....

AND THEN, I get a text from my buddy that the Ultimate Warrior was dead !!!!!!!

mother fucker...worst 4 hour span of my entire life......

Landed at 9:44 central and still haven't had my ears "pop" back to normal 3 hours later. This very rarely happens and I fly more than I care to admit. Tends to happen more when I fly private/corporate jets.

What I can't stand is when I go anywhere other than Dunkin Donuts for coffee and I tell them cream and sugar and they ask me how many?

Thanks for the update, doc.
This has really helped me put closure to my day.
Best of luck with the new brush.
