I use straps only on back day every other week. but I only use them on heavy rows and lat pull downs. I will say I use straps for longer hold counts when bringing the weights back down...almost 5 sec if that makes sense

Normally I will shake out my arms after most preacher curl sets. Thumb under fingers, shake the arms, I can feel the biceps moving separate than the bone

Tonight, no room off the bone to shake

I always shake my biceps after preacher's. almost automatic. I like looking at the bicep shake...I think of it as the bicep twerking

Same here.....they are great on weighted chins. At the end of my sets, I just lower to the bottom and see how long I can bear the pain of hanging with weight attached to me.

Almost feels like your scapulae is detaching!

Just start out slow and play it by ear if you have been released by your Dr.

Also I am a big fan of pronation exercises and find myself doing them pretty much every workout with warm-ups. Can't get too much protection when it comes to shoulders!

Leg day this morning. Been having some great leg days over the last few weeks. With the prior job, I traveled so often it was hard to keep a solid lifting schedule. The last month and a half I've been able to get in the gym almost every day so I think things are definitely progressing. Especially in regards to my legs, seeing some size gains!!

Fiances parents got in last night, so I'm thinking that might keep me from the gym this weekend, but I'm going to try to get in there as long as the woman doesn't beat my ass hahaha.

Just tell her that you wanted to let her spend some quality time with her parents!

Leg day this morning. Low-Bar squats, Hack-Squats, and Sissy-Squats. Then did some abductor and adductor work...followed by calves.

Overall a pretty good workout. I'm in my week of active recovery..so no crazy weights. I walked out feeling pretty good instead of the usual being hit by a bus feeling!

Big fan of sissy-squats. I'll usually superset with squats or a similar movement, get a mean pump!

I had legs yesterday. Tweaked my back slightly, just was really tight all yesterday and a slight bit of tightness today. Should be back to normal tomorrow.

Today was back and triceps. Probably my favorite day, although my core was all contorted from tweaking my back yesterday haha. Whenever it happens my upper abdominal bulges out, while my lower abdominal compresses inward. Such an awkward feeling.

I love them. Up until a couple years ago, I never even bothered with them. But once I tried them as a finishing exercise, I was hooked.

Hate to hear that about your back. Hope it goes away soon.

Yeah it goes away after a couple days. I really should go get it checked out as when I really tweak it the pain shoots down my leg (sciatic nerve).

Messed it up maybe two years ago so now I just deal with it. Sucks because I can't push my legs as hard as I would like since I limit my movements to prevent injury. Worried if I get it checked they'll either just tell me to rehab it (which I have done, issue still persists) or surgery which I am avoiding like the plague. Don't want any off time haha.

This made me chuckle, my bf loves calluses and how they feel when we hold hands, so I don't use gloves. I have no particular preference otherwise.

Again last night I'm having more issues with grip than with the lats failing, and I'm thinking it's in part due to mixing in bi with back. Last night was a "pull" routine, and tonight will be "push (chest/tri) Maybe I need to switch things up?

I'm looking into some straps to help out. The GriPads do well to not slip on the handle, IF I can keep my fingers closed around it.
