Do you know if this is going to be a facelift version or a new model? I understand the iX3 will be built on the new platform and completely new car, but this new G45?
Does anybody know where the batteries will be located in the hybrid version this time? Will they move them under the car or keep them in the trunk as current model?
Thanks!

Looks like an iX3, no exhaust vapors, plus no noise, front intakes are blocked out

I hope I'm wrong but it sure looks like they replaced most of the mechanical buttons on the wheel with capacitive touch sensors, and a touch slider for volume.

Looks worse than M-B's use of the old Blackberry optical mouse buttons, which are f-ing awful to use in a car.

Looks like the same crappy m sport seats or can we not tell? That would be horrendous if they fell short on improving the comfort / material

They look like the steering wheel buttons on the X1 - they aren't capacitive (thank goodness)

Awful interior and such design laziness with the long, iPad looking disaster. 👎 Looks like an order for a '24 or buying used in the future. ☹️

Really don’t know why they won’t put some type of hood or wrap around the screens! Remodel after remodel same old crap design stuck onto the dashboard with no cohesiveness.

I say the same thing every time - when you can look thru the steering wheel and see the screen as well as the dashboard at a different depth - it just looks so incomplete to me. No longer feels like you are in a cockpit / drivers seat. Just very odd to me.

The Porsche driver cluster is similar in some ways but it at least looks more inserted into the dashboard and curved etc… I still don’t care for that one either but it’s better…

Rear-window visibility looks horrendous. Can it be any smaller? Please don't tell me BMW is adopting what some other car manufacturers have done, putting a lcd screen with a rear camera feed as the rear-view mirror, instead of an actual mirror.

I hope the final screen integration is better than this or say the G8x. This looks like a drive-in movie screen.

I think the irony of EVs gaining prominence that the enthusiast community isn’t appreciating is that the station wagon design is going to make a comeback due to aerodynamic advantages.

I’m sure it’s no coincidence BMW is lowering the profile of the X3 given the iX3 existing on the same platform.

The iX3 has been produced on the current (G03) platform for the last few years.

These new generation of cars with these dumb ipad screen gauges will age absolutely terrible.

Just wish we can still get simple analog gauges like BMW did very well and physical controls for HVAC.
