If your mom bought a C63 i don't now why she would be worrying about gas price.
Anyways, I just bought a C350 and at the dealer the guy told me not to push it hard until i reach the 1,000 miles and to keep it in C (cruise) (it should be the same for the C63). So try not to push the car hard until then (advice). And the guy told me this couple days after i bought it, so i had already pushed it hard, but that was just only for about an hour.

It's good to vary the revs and speeds when you're driving a car during break-in. I don't think pushing it for a short period will cause any harm.

good idea to vary speed, rpm, etc. during break-in,- vary heat cycles. We did this on the 20,000 bhp ships I worked on, to ensure proper seating of the rings and so we didn't ruin a 600,000$ piston/ring set.

Now that's a car even I can't see my mom driving. And you'd be saying good bye to practicality.

man i went to go see my salesperson at the MB dealership today hoping they would have the C63 but they didnt wanted to take a look and drive it
instead though i got to drive the SL63. they just got it in two days ago! i didnt even wanna drive it but our salesperson (same guy past 16 years) hesitated i do and i dont regret saying no just as long as the C63 is a 4 door version (and a little slower, i know), i'll be happy i cant even imagine how the SL65 is |

C63 is amazing. If I didn't want to shift, I would choose the C63 over the 6-MT M3 sedan. I have a 6 speed coming and almost pulled the tigger on the MB. You can't say which is better but they are for completely different people. I like M3...

The black series is the next step up from AMG... exactly what CSL is in comparison to M The C class and the CL are two totally different models. Like comparing a 3 series to a 6 series.

I've been really lazy with the pics, so these two are hold-over ones haha.
I love the front.

Here we go, some real pics. Well, it's not a full-blown photoshoot, but at least it's a real camera. Unfortunately my camera shat itself halfway through the process because I forgot to charge it, so I only have pics of the front and wheels.
More are on their way.

Very nice and congrats to your mom!
One thing that bothers me is the non-existent wheel arches in the back. The front has a nice wideness but the back is virtually non-exist ant..
