My ears did finally get back to normal at about 9:30 last night. It was a terrible and muted nearly 12 hours.

I made reservations for my wife and I at a restaurant called Extra Virgin in the West Village here in NYC on Saturday night and when we arrived the place was packed and my wife did not want to sit in a crowd so we were forced to walk down the block to another restaurant (jazz themed) and was forced to endure a 4 star restaurant experience...

I suggest that you find yourself a bar that will stock more bud light then. I would suggest that you drink a better beer to start with but fucking in a canoe has its merits.

So a senior faculty member at our school died this past weekend after a long battle with cancer (wouldn't wish that on anyone). The school posted an obit of sorts on their FB page. So far 37 people have "Liked" the post.

WTF? Are FB users so determined to "Like" anything that they'll click that stupid button no matter what the post is about? Or does Like really mean "I read this?"

The day Fecesbook goes bankrupt will be the most amazing day in the world. When they "liked" the post, they likes the fact that person lost their battle with cancer.

I ordered 2 cream and 6 sugar in my coffee. Tastes like 1 cream and 2 sugars.

They ruined my morning. Now I have to resort to taking the rest of the day off.

Large coffee calls for a cornucopia of sugar.

I have to say though, I don't really know what they "qualify" as a single unit of sugar. Maybe they are speaking in # of granules?

That's why I like my Dunkin Donuts coffee. You tell them cream and sugar and they put just enough (about a metric ton each) plus it spares me the shame of having to ask for 12 cream and 36 sugars.

I wish I had a DD on my way to work. I pass about a thousand Bojangles, McD's, and Taco Bells instead.

Ahh, a true first world problem for some Americans is that they do not have Tim Hortons. We on the other hand have a surplus of them. Interested in a trade - I'll happily exchange some for warm weather?

It snowed again today. I am sad. Am unsure if this is a first world, third world or just an ordinary problem.

Oh trust me, back in Detroit I had a large sum of Tim Hortons to choose from. Not the case down here, now its Bojangles, Bisquitville, and southern BBQ. I will take the trade for a T.H., but you get to keep the snow, I'm over that portion of my life.

I was going to say, that sounds more like "First World Canadian Problem", but then my buddy said its going to snow in MI, so its more of a "First World Northern Problem"

I had TH coffee from Detroit once. Gawd awful swill. Might have just been Detroit's fault, though.

It was definitely Detroit's fault. Not a single doubt is given.
