I have these LED angel eyes and besides the install, which has nothing to do with Burger, they have been nothing but flawless.

the narrator in "the outer limits" smokes my brain every time!

there's a lot of really good reruns on cable tv (mostly in the non-hd digital channels like cloo and flix)

It's just in a tight space on the E92 and I have big sausage fingers. The LEDs caused none of the issues, I just needed smaller hands to make it easier.

The space they provide is just dumb, even all the techs that I know bitch about it.

I'm making myself quesadilla or 4 for lunch. I love days I can work from home.

Every car I have owned except the S2000 was a bitch with just about everything. I gave up on doing shit myself. Something with a car that would take an hour turns into 3 hours all the time. The only thing I would do myself is put the 3m double sided tape on the cf duck bill and put it on; and I would still complain about doing that lol

I'm between some pizza, hot sub, or some other bangin foods; can't decide

anything that is much more involved than putting in a headlight I just say fuck it and pay somebody else to do. I used to flip cars for extra cash buying blown up ones, putting in new motors/trans/whatever myself but that got old really fast and I started paying other people to do the work for me on that too.

Since it's snowing here, anything that is hot sounds good to me, so I'm of very little help to you on your lunch decisions.

There probably isn't much of a market in flipping cars anymore is there?

You might be surprised. When you can deal with things that people have expensive repairs to fix (Acura TL transmission for example) you can get them really cheap and make a good profit. Having contacts and dealerships helps too, we just go and offer somebody $500 more for their trade than the dealer would and make a quick flip with a fully running car.

Just have to find something that you can do at night that is enjoyable and simple. For example, I also make the plexiglass holders for store signs and prices that you see at an electronics or furniture store and the bungees that hold things in the same manner. Was something 2 of my buddies and I started when we were still in high school and used connections our parents had to sell them into places. You would be amazed at what some people pay for that kind of stuff given the very low cost of production.

I'm very thankful of the connections that I have. It also helps that I have friends who are willing to do the work for some cash on the side. I am basically just the money at this point and typically have 5-8 cars sitting waiting to be sold. We had to set up an LLC so we can't get shafted on any kind of title jumping charges too. All said and done, I make much less than when I was doing it on my own under the table, but having the extra cash flow is always nice.

You're lucky....I've been trying to find ways to just make a few bucks on top of my weekly paycheck but haven't had any luck. Debating on getting a second job at my liquor store or something lol. Was trying to sell some "collectibles" I have lying around like pokemon cards, beenie babies, goosebump books, all kinds of random stuff from my childhood I wish I could make money off of. Just in a FTL situation with money right now; wanna do all this crap to the car and can't

I am very thankful for the things that I have been able to do!

I worked at a liquor store as a second job right out of college for extra cash. It was great because there were only a few busy times and I could get other things done while I was there for my other job. Actually put away a lot of money from there for starting my business. When you don't "need" the extra money for anything besides "fun stuff" it's a hell of a lot easier than when you are forced to get a second job. I worked as a bartender in a small town on some of the weekends too, the tips weren't great, but you always had good stories and we were never busy enough that I was stressed out. Working a low stress and "unnecessary" job as a second is nice, because if things aren't going your way, you leave. Had a buddy who worked at a grocery store stocking shelves at night for some extra cash.

Exactly. I'm really debating on it because I have stuff I need to get for the car before I make an appointment with a performance shop to get work done in May (I'm planning). Need berk mids and VRSF intercooler before May along with money on the side for the work, running out of time . By the time May comes around I'm sure I'll have another mishap and the damn thing will misfire or HPFP or water pump or something will go bad

If you do it, find something that you can set your schedule for the most part. When I worked at the liquor store, I would set my schedule week by week so I could determine exactly how many hours I was getting dependent on what I had going on outside of work.

My HPFP just died on me this morning... Good thing for that 'HPFP LOL' license plate that my dealer finds so funny I guess...

My 4 year old daughter diarrheaed all over the back seat yesterday(she's been sick all week). Found out this morning when I took the car to work.
