Chicken Burger.
Just as good as the original restaurant in Nova-Scotia. After Penthouse did an article about them, they start selling franchise but it did not last long... |

I had a petite American Kobe steak last night.
Tonight's dinner was chicken fingers from Zaxby's. Always wanted to try them out, and the stars finally aligned tonight.....

Look good. I have been a fan of Dr. Oetker from day one. Yes, you need to beef up the pizza (check my pizza post https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showp...postcount=1714) but all their product are good.

Home made poutine. A gazillion calories but I spent a gazillion running 15k with the girls in preparation for the Hypothermic Half Marathon next week-end.

Cavendish Farm from P.E.I. And yes, they're from a bag. I deep fry them and they taste pretty good. Don't forget, I'm single and a 5Lbs bag, which is the smallest available, would probably last me a year. Have you seen what a potato looks like after a year? Tentacles that would scare off an octopus.

Made some Prime Rib. Ordered a bad one out so I decided to do it myself. First time and it came out awesome.
The potato was a prop to keep it from falling over. Cooked 20 minutes at 450 to sear it. Then 1 hour 45 minutes at 190 degrees until the internal temp was 131 degrees. Then I rested it covered in foil for 20 minutes the. Sliced it. |
