You know, you can still use the LORs from your unit in DE for up to a year. As for Cola, yeah it must be insane right now. I was looking at doing the same thing, but at least in Signal, all the slots are pretty full. That time when everyone was getting approved a couple years ago passed for me. Its more of a 40% chance of getting approved now a days. Plus with OCS, your chance of getting approved is like 90% and O-1E pay is pretty good to start off with.
