Alicia Vikander was in the movie too but I didn’t see her. His gf definitely didn’t get enough screen time.

You know, I was wondering if that was her. Didn’t quite look like her but at the same time kind of did. I didn’t bother looking it up since the movie sucked. That’s the kind of movies that could put an actor down a slippery slope to C-list.

John David Washington (JDW) was good in Ballers on HBO. In Tenet he was okay and in Bekett it was just wtf? I agree that certain actors and actresses have a niche that they do best in.
Never watched Ballers and haven't seen Tenet, but just watched a trailer. Looks good. Will add it to my watch list.
Ballers was a cool lil' show.

It was great for a few seasons. Then it tailed off towards the end. Was kind of like Entourage.

Agreed. My wife sat there looking at each other like WTF?
It felt like the movie began from the middle.

Anybody have recommendations on where to download a lot of movies for free?

Wife and I are taking a 12 hr road trip up to my cabin in NC in a couple of weeks, and I wanted to download a bunch of movies to a USB.
We've been using individual DVDs lately when taking weekend road trips, but we've literally watched everything now.

Hattori Hanzo actor (Sonny Chiba) passed away

Just read the news this famous Japanese actor died from COVID complications. Many may recall him portraying Hattori Hanzo in Kill Bill. He was actually well known in his younger days and was in a ton of Japanese movies including "The Street Fighter".

I have the exact same clock, shown in the background of the picture on the right, in my bedroom.

I did actually. My best friend bought it for me for a house warming gift. The first time I watched Kill Bill (was watching with said buddy) I noticed the clock, mentioned it to him and he was clueless until I zoomed in on the screen.

Watched a couple movies last weekend.

1st was Diani & Devine Meet the Apocalypse on Prime. Was actually pretty funny, my wife even got in to watching it. The beginning few mins were a little annoying but give it time.

2nd was Knowing, little bit older but I hadn't seen it. Not bad and helped pass some time. Amazing how much graphics have gotten better just since 2009.

Just finished Knowing. Felt like I’ve seen it before but don’t remember all of it. Parts of it were familiar. Good movie.
