The goal you mention is incompatible with all cars in BMW M's lineup, except the upcoming M2.

There is NOTHING Motorsport about an X6M or X5M. Trust me, I don't see a racing class for SAVs

///M for Marketing is truly how it is now. Just accept it for what it is and enjoy the cars. But if they're gonna make X3/5/6 M cars then why not a touring. They've done it in the past for the M5 so why not do it for the M3??? Low take rate in the US is what has killed it for any tourings. We can thank the SUV mentality here for killing that.
