People that come to do push-ups and sit-ups at the gym. I can understand if you come to lift weights or run and then maybe you feel like push-ups or sit-ups but there are some people that show up to do push-ups on the gym floor. LOOK AT ME EVERYONE! WTF! Do that shit at home, just taking up floorspace and making me walk around you.

Naggers. Also, saw this one last week: a guy doing push-ups in the squat rack. Feet up on a bench behind the rack, with his hands on a barbell that is resting on the safety bars. He managed to take up 3 pieces of equipment to do an exercise that you can do literally fucking anywhere. |

Gym etiquette: they need to teach a class to prevent gym violence. Basically put things back the way you found them. This often happens when I work out with my wife. My wife grabs the 15s or 20s.........some girl racks her weights in my wife's spot....therefore she has to walk across the gym to the other set of dumb bells. Drives me crazy.
Bad body odor guy: either they have old clothes on, haven't taken a shower in awhile or smells like ass. I hate 35lb. weights. There is no need 25 + 10 +35. Get rid of them and gym would be much more organized. The guys that only lift upper body (LL Cool J guy)/ pencil leg / never wear shorts because people will see my skinny legs / but my upper body is huge guy. Stupid. Get on the squat rack and be a man!! |

Ha! Its the guys that don't even try. I have always been very balanced (when I actually lifted on a regular basis) While in college I tore (not pulled) my hamstring. I could only do upper body for a while and upper body strength improved quite a bit. To this day I still have to be very careful with the hamstring. Gone are the days of 4.4 sec 40 yd dash and 4 plates on a side heavy squats.

The weirdos in the locker room. It could be the "old guys" but worse are the guys that are just a little bit interested in you. I stopped changing/showering in the locker room 20 years ago because of this. The locker room is to be avoided. I think it might be even worse in the women's locker room.

Yes. If you took it from a certain rack it should go back in the same place you found it. Actually I think the gym should do a better job of teaching this. One it should be taught but also the staff should go around and organize/put weights in the proper place. This used to be common practice but seems to be missing now a days.

There was this one dude at my gym who was so annoying. No only push-ups in the aisle in front of the benches but also did handstands. WTF??! Guy wore hot pink tank tops and had rowing paddle tattoo on his lower leg. How did I see it? He did a handstand. And walking lunges. |
