Yes, just the band. I was so livid they did offer me the current model, which was $$$ but wanted other watch in return. They played it well b/c I settle on a free Omega leather band. Still burns me when I think about it.

Oh, sorry it was a Constellation not a Seamaster.

Very nice watch and love the constellations. Pie Pan on my bucket list.

The important thing is that you still have the watch. They should have found you a replacement like the original though.

So many VC lovers out there! I never really got into them but I do appreciate the understated elegance that resonates with the brand. They are very classy pieces and never try too hard to show off.

Watches are so very personal.

Very nice piece. Another Richemont brand. JLC has a great history too. In fact, my Overseas has a JLC ebauche. Any chance you can post a shot of the reverse? Is that the one with the dark dial on the reverse?

This photo is of Douglas Macarthur's Reverso which I saw at SIHH this year... I guess that is a good occupation (pun intended) for having the protection of a Reverso!
