I've tried a few different Patels and don't remember any I didn't like. I pretty much just have Cubans because I can get them off base and in a cantina on base. You can't even find non-Cuban Cigars throughout most of Germany or Europe for that matter. Right now I've been on a kick with Hoyo Epicure Especials and #1's. Plus Cohiba Siglo's #'s 2&4.

They do indeed. I was out for a stroll enjoying the MC the other day. A fellow walks by with his dog and asks me if he smelled Indonesian cigarettes.

What?

I just smoked my last Cohiba Genios yesterday. Not a big Maduro fan but these were excellent. I think next run to the Cig shop I'm going to pick up some MC #2's since everyones talking about them and it's been awhile since I had one.

Matt, those are some very nice MC GR's. FDM68 those are some nice vacation cigars

I'm debating whether or not to buy some Cohiba Behikes, I have never tried them. What are your reviews of them, guys? Also, has anyone here tried "Art of War - Armadas" ? The set is $500 and the cigar box is hand made wood. The reviews on them are quite high.

Had my Hemingway Short stories come in. Glad I only got a 5-pack of them. I'm not really enjoying them. So far, the first one has tasted like a cigarette and chocked full of that "chemical" taste I find in cigarettes. Is this a bad batch?

I'd have to say there was definantly something wrong there. Never heard of this happening with actual cigars....some crap like king edwards yes but not something like a Hemingway....I'd return to the shop and speak to the proprieter.

My typical smoke right now is Davidoff 2000s. Fantastically smooth, some slight pepper and great draw. Also an easy 30-45min smoke. Being from CT I am also more inclined towards Connecticut Shade wrappers than many.

Side note: The 2000 is a mild cigar that I really enjoy. I know that full bodied really seems to be the popular item at the moment but I honestly think many people are missing out on how great a well crafted but mild stick can be. I am all for enjoying my Cohibas or my favorite Ashton VSGs but my Davidoff 2000 cannot be replaced along with some other mild favorites.

I need to get some BHK's but the only place is off base and way expensive. Maybe I'll talk to the Canadiens and see if they can get some. It's been a while since I've had any of them.

Pretty excited, just got back from a 4 day trip through Belgium and the Netherlands and picked up some BK's in Amsterdam! I'll pix up tomorrow as it's late and I've been traveling all day. Now to have a good reason to smoke them.......
