Spoiler:
Wow, Barao with a spinning back kick. I was rooting for Eddie, but what a TKO 48-47 48-47 49-46? The first 2 I can see because the first round could have gone either way, but 49-46? I had AG winning 2, 3, and JJ winning 4 and 5. 4 was a 10-8 round, but still. Fuckin AG got some chin on him that's for sure. Wow. Close fight, but not a 49-46 fight....

I had Gust winning 1, 2 and 3. Need to see the fight again but both fighters put on a great show, plenty of warrior spirit. I think Jones is lucky, the refs could have easily sided with Gust. Keen to see the fight again. Awesome card all round.

It was definitely a close fight and I'd understand if they gave it to AG. Jones had him in more in trouble though, almost finished him in the 4th but dang is AG tough. Rounds 1-3 was close but I'd get a slight edge to AG. 4-5 go to Jones.
Barao should be crowned the official champ already. Cruz has been out way too long. When he is ready, then yes he can challenge for his belt back. Barao is nasty, always like watching him fight. |

def a close fight, i hate immediate rematches but in this case, I think its well deserved. Most people scored it for Guf but it was a close fight for sure.
and pretty sure Cruz shat himself after seeing that kick from Barao and knowing he has to fight him after a 2 year break. |

Great fight. I would think any of the first 3 rounds could have been toss ups and the last 2 went to Jones. Jones standup looked bad against someone with superior striking and length. His wrestling looked sloppy too. Maybe the toe was a factor in training. Excited to see that fight again.
Did anybody see Matt Metrione's toe after he got put to sleep. It was twitching like crazy. |

I have a lot more respect for Gustaffson. Always knew Jones was a beast, and he still is. Gustaffson just showed he's up there as well. I think there is a case for that fight to go either way. I do believe that winning the latter rounds is more significant than earlier rounds, and Jones definitely did a lot of damage with some of those elbows towards the end. Awesome fight. Respect to both fighters. Reminded me of Hendo v Shogun where Shogun really poured it on in the late rounds. Really loving the competition in MMA of late, and I've realised even the best p4p guys can look human. I feel that the gap is closing between the best, Silva, Jones etc, but they are still way above the rest. The GSP v Hendricks fight should be epic.

LOL Cruz is gonna get boned. Barao is a MONSTER and he's damn young as well. 2 acl surgeries and probably a 2.5 year layoff. Now that sucks for u bro lol |

Bisping is out against Munoz. Machida is stepping in. Should be a good first fight at 185 for the Dragon.
Okami was released by the UFC too. I'm not sure if I agree with that. I think they could have given him another fight or 2 against an up and coming guy. He's had his ups and downs but not many fighters can say they've fought AS twice in their career either. Also, anyone else watching latest TUF? I'm enjoying it so far. |

Okami getting shafted I don't really get it tbh. He wasn't too entertaining but he could have easily been put on fox cards and a gatekeeper. I'm really watching TUF for the female fights. No real interest on the guys side besides Neal (cancer beater) and the other guy that trains with team alphamale. |

It seems like Ronda is losing a lot of fans, if things keep going this way it wouldn't surprise me if she gets booed when she comes out to fight Tate. Her trainer seems like a real stain. I can't stand the guy. Not sure if Ronda is taking one for the team (UFC) because as annoying as she is, it's keeping me interested in the show. |

So I read. Donno if I believe or it since he didn't show the same lack of athleticism as he did in sonnen vs silva 1. Regardless tho, it's a thing of the past and I'm looking forward to the rematch
