Mine does not like the collar, but he's the type of breed whereas you can walk him, I just never have the time nor ever tried to

Nope, I just bought the car about a month ago. BMW crew? What do you drive so I can wave back lol

Back from a walk with my pooch, went an extra mile or so as he's getting slightly overweight and preparing smaller chicken thighs for his meals.

To put it the simplest, the attention you may attract driving your car can be not necessarily friendly (Rory is the black gang leader in that clip.).

A related trivia can be cats are said to have a discriminate, "filtered" hearing: they are very susceptible to quiet sounds/noises (there's no way you can slink past a sleeping cat unnoticed!) but loud sounds don't bother them too much (I recall a cat comfortably sleeping by a constantly slamming door in a store and I didn't think the cat was deaf).

They also fail to register words like 'no' 'stop' or 'don't'.

Before I owned a cat, the first time I ever saw a cat taking a crap with my buddy... We couldn’t stop laughing for hours. And now everytime I clean the litterbox, my cat’s shit is worse than my english bulldog’s.

My cat has 2 litter boxes. She picked one for pissing and the other is for shitting. She has never had an accident. I clean both boxes every day. She checks her boxes frequently to make sure they don't smell so the wolves don't get her.

You say cats,I was at a race car meeting where the cars were so loud you had to wear ear protectors. As the race progressed a dozen or so fans were lying out on a grassy bank fast asleep some without e/protectors.
I stood in front of some of them blocking the sun then stepping away and made no difference, most of them were in deep slumber.

What I said about cats was their amazing ability to notice the slightest sounds while not being too vulnerable to loud ones - this was the point.

Being dead drunk, dead tired, just dead is nothing amazing, it doesn't count. Nor does just poor hearing (some cats can have too), of course.

If those people could hear you speak while the cars were roaring around you could call them "cat people", perhaps. Deep slumber is an advantage in noisy conditions but it reduces your chance of hearing the alarm clock as well - that's not so nice.

I'll try speaking to them next time I'm at Brands Hatch in between the cars roaring past and see what happens

The physics behind this should be frequencies selection regardless of the signal strength: like cats "pick out" of the sound scene what's of particular interest to them - the kinds of sounds their prey can make (similar to your distinguishing of the voices you love/hate from indifferent ones, I guess). FWIW - I heard/read it somewhere, not an expert myself.

Lol and I've been trying to find ways that makes my life easier cleaning litter box.
Was thinking getting one of those litter robots but it's rather huge for my place and it's rather expensive.
Recently got this new litter box, much cheaper and you do not need to scoop at all....damn it's a savior
I'll post the link if your interested

I know what you're saying, it's the same with our dog he can be sleeping on the sofa with normal home noises he just keeps his eyes shut then when say a delivery man is coming up the driveway with a package which I can't even hear him coming he jumps up and starts growling lol
