Floor mats and accessories

Does anyone know when we might start seeing 2025 all weather floor mats and accessories available? I keep checking BMW but only really seeing license plate frames right now. Nothing with weather tech yet either.

From my experience, weathertech are low quality. Within one year I had a set that faded and warped. If you like great protection with a more luxurious look, go with tuxmats. I have those in my G80 and I love them. No warping or discoloration after a year. In my wife’s X3, we have actually used the OEM all weather mats for 3 X3’s and my opinion is that the OEM are far superior to weathertech.

Weird, my brother and I both have weather tech in our cars X3/X5 and have no issues...
Are tuxmat puffy? In the photos they seems puffy if that makes sense I'm assuming they are hard plastic.

That’s good you and your brother have had goood experiences. It has been about 7-8 years since we have tried the weathertechs.

I never thought of the tuxmats being puffy, but now that you ask, they are not hard plastic like OEM and weathertech, and have a soft feel to them. They do clean up easily and keep the dirt and debris on top as the hard plastic ones do and do not get dirt or debris trapped in them.

that's good to know. I never considered them as they look like regular mats and not the "weather tech plastic look"

These are the G45 all-weather mats - part numbers 51-47-5-B3C-4D8 (front) and 51-47-5-B3C-4E7 (rear):
https://www.getbmwparts.com/oem-part...nt-51475b3c4d8
https://www.getbmwparts.com/oem-part...ar-51475b3c4e7

Also: cargo mat - part number 51-47-5-B3C-4F2:
https://www.getbmwparts.com/oem-part...at-51475b3c4f2

Caveat: I haven't ordered these myself, so I can't vouch 100% for the accuracy of this info. I was just researching this myself recently. But please double check.

Thank you so much for sharing these.

Has anyone found the M Performance Mat part numbers for G45 M50?

Weathertech said that they are in the early stage of development, and availability will not be until next year.

Tuxmat just started development. They didn’t say when it would be ready, but I doubt it would be anytime soon.

I got the trunk mat through the factory, when I ordered it.

How’s the trunk mat? Do you have any pictures? Can you confirm the part number. Thanks!

Someone posted a link, it looks exactly like this one. The dealer quoted originally around $180 and when I picked the car up, it said $250. I guess they always try to mark up everything they can.

What do you think of this cargo mat so far? Would you recommend getting it?

It looks and feels high end. It has the BMW logo, it doesn´t protect 100% of the cargo space like the weathertech I had on my ´22, but so far this is the only one available and even though it´s a little pricey it´s great.

Thanks for the insight. When you say it doesn't protect 100%, which areas are omitted / ill-fitted? I'm leaning towards getting the same mat, and am curious whether this will pose any practical concerns.

There´s a small area on the left I think that´s not covered; it´s like a netted area but it´s not important. Also, if you have to lift the trunk cover (original) to get the spare tire or something else, you have to bend the mat, it´s not designed to bend easily in that area, also not important.

Has anyone ordered and received any of the all weather floor mats from anywhere? I was going to order from www.bmwpartsworldwide.com since it looked like best deal but haven’t pulled the plug yet.

I ordered the front mats from https://www.getbmwparts.com/oem-part...nt-51475b3c4d8. They are your typical OEM BMW All weather Mats that they have for all their other models. I can post a pic if you want.

For what it's worth, try asking your local dealer if they will match the online price you see from those other sites. Mine did for the cargo mat.

This saves you the shipping fee from those sites. Plus if you haven't seen the product in person yet, it gives you a chance to take a look before finalizing the purchase.

Yes if you have pics I'd like to see what they look like. It's hard to see in the little snippets they have on the websites. I'm assuming they are the soft rubber mats.
