On Leasehackr, looks like ~6% with a broker.

I’ve gotten quotes from 7percent. To a little better money factor.

Did BMW change invoice on these cars? I can’t believe the 2025 is this discounted.

No, invoice is about 6.4% less than MSRP for the M50i. The early discounting would point to sales not being very robust which in general is true as BMW is really increasing incentives in order to stimulate sales of various models.

So, I am a skilled car buyer. Dealers are acting silly right now in my area. MSRP

I'm purchasing (not leasing) with financing. My dealer is insisting on MSRP for the G45 M50.

I'm OK with that, since I'm in the privileged position of not being price sensitive at the X3's price point. Plus I like my CA and don't mind giving him the win on this sale.

They had plenty of wins during the Pandemic collecting MSRP and sometimes ADM! Younger folks won't even know/remember that paying invoice or below is quite possible in the "good old days"!

I guess it depends on the region.

We can still get healthy discount here on most BMW models. I was looking at an M340i Touring recently and could get 17% off a factory order. M50 is still around the 10%-12% off a factory order at present.

There must be so much margin to command such discounts! I think my record for a discount was 10% off a Mercedes (and that was my first one)!

It can be hard to fathom with manufacturer incentives, and individual dealership margin and volume priorities.

I'm doing 7% off, with base MF/APR. Part of that is because we have more M50s than xDr30is.

I like my CA as well. All 10 of them I’ve dealt with in last 15 years or so. Once they know you like them, call you Bro and get a hint you are loyal that’s when the good deals stop cold. I’ve learned that lesson more than once. Never again. I give my favorites first crack but if they don’t play ball I move on to the backups and then even new ones. I had one recently say something about that and I told her it’s because she still thinks she’s selling during the pandemic shortage.

Anything over 10% is great. I'm surprised that discount is available on a new model.

He is in the UK, totally different pricing structure.

In other parts of Europe discount on a factory order is already 17% off the M50.

Similar principles apply though, cars in high demand, and highly anticipated new models don’t usually get much, if any, discount.

If it’s a highly anticipated new model, rave reviews, and there’s strong demand, there would be little or no discount for factory orders.

As mentioned we are seeing discounts of up to 17% off factory orders in the European markets.

I’m not convinced what you are claiming is correct. The X3 isn’t even in the dealers yet in the UK. It’s too early for demand to be established and so I’d be very surprised if double digit discounts are being offered. Maybe a fully loaded M50 where there is a large margin to play with. The rest of the range..I doubt it.
