Is this a good deal?

So I'm looking at buying my fiancé a 2005 X3 3.0. The guys wants 9000 for it. It has 105,000 miles on it. She really likes it. I'm in Germany at the moment and will be back in the states in less than a month. I will obviously test drive the car before I pull the trigger. Question is does it seem like a good deal or no? Also will I be able to take It to a BMW dealership and have their mechanics diagnose the car? And if so any ideas on how much that will cost? Thanks in advance.
