KLM Airline and or Air France..opinions

Im leaving tomorrow AM for a 10 day trip with my legal studies class in Highschool and I was wondering if anyone has traveled with KLM? We are flying KLM ATL->Amsterdam then Amsterdam to Geneva. I know they have a ton of movies but hows the food and seats and such? Also the return flight is Air France and I heard the food is superb but hows the rest?

Thanks in advance...

P.S- I just bought the Bose Around Ear headphones and it was the best 80 dollars I ever spent...these things are phenomenal.

Both good air lines. Not the best, but far better than the domestics.

Yeak KLM is pretty good. I don't remember much cuz i was a kid, they use to give up these little puzzles and Disney playing card . Food is good and seats are pretty comfortable, but for some reason i can't sleep in air planes.
I never been in air france

They are the same company now, and are looking to buy Alitalia. Both fine.

I've had twelve flights with KLM and have had issues with three of them (25%). Once the flight left Amsterdam with 57 passengers and three suitcases on the aircraft and the rest of the passenger's luggage remained sitting on the tarmac in the rain. Another one, the baggage handler actually threw -- THREW -- my suitcase on the ground and damaged a fragile item within. Nothing regarding good food or seat size will ever get me on another KLM flight.

KLM622 KATL-EHAM TYPE:A332

These brand new planes were recently delivered. Note: The video equipment blocks your underseat room in Economy seats A,D,F,J except bulkheads.

Choose wisely.

You are going to be on KLM Flight 622 from Atlanta-Amsterdam, your Aircraft is going to be an Airbus A330-200, The diagram above is a seating chart of that specific aircraft, the Green seats are the best on the plane, the Yellow is for you to be "Aware" that it may not be the best, and Red is somewhere you dont want to sit on that long of a flight. The white seats are standard and perfectly fine. Let me know if you have any questions.

There is nothing worse than those back seats that don't recline! Try to get an exit row seat, they have more leg room because people need to be able to run out.

Ugh I know those last rows SUCK!! Both my to and from flight to aspen I was stuck there ugh wanted to punch someone. The same happend when I went up to Pittsburgh for a college interview...its THE WORST. Exit rows are awsome and I always like messing with the flight attendants because I look 15 but am 18 and they say how old are you and Im like well and think about it so they go...son we need to get someone to sit in this seat and then Im like ya no im 18 sorry I was listening to my Ipod haha

I've flown KLM from LAX to Schipol in Amstersdam every summer for about 14 years now, a total of about 24 or more over seas trips with them. I like them alot. Martin Air, British, Swiss, and Virgin are good too.

I dont like the exit row seats
u can't put ur stuff under the seat in front of u or even hang on to it

I prefer the front of the cabin..
anyways, don't worry about those air lines.. they are usually fine..
I just don't like CDG airport cuz a bottle of water is like 10 euro...

Sort of on topic but why is it that foreign airlines manage to have decent complimentary meals served by hot flight attendants but our domestic airlines cannot even manage to have decent snack food to say nothing of the geriatric cranky attendants?

I travel with KLM alot, and they are good. Recently all of their oversees-going aircrats were equiped with Media-centre TV's for each seat so you can choose from a bout 100 movies to watch, listen to music, play games, watch the news, and alot of other stuff. However, the Amsterdam Airport is awesome, it is the biggest I've ever seen. they have 2 McDonald's there (not that i eat there). With Air France, i think u'd enjoy the flight more, but the Airport isn't a big and as fun.
Have a good trip.

If you guys are so worried about your seats and your comfort, just get a Business or First Class ticket and enjoy the longass trip. I know its more expensive, but you'll enjoy the trip so much more. They give you so much attention in those premium classes. You guys have got to try them out sometime. There is no problem with reclining the seats since in fist class, they can become flat just like a bed so you can have a nice sleep...lol. Some times they even have masagers in the First Class seats (Emirate Airlines).

Haven't been able to fly them yet, but I hear Emirate Airlines is among the best.
