Open apology to all drivers I share the road with...

If you are on the highway in front of me and I am coming up on you at a higher rate of speed then you are travelling...and I start flashing my high-beams at you...

...I am just trying to lower the set speed of my cruise control. Don't mind me. I'm very sorry.

I haven't used the cruise control function in years. Where do you live? Must not be very populated

you think that's weird.. should have seen me when i first got the E90 and i couldn't figure out how to work the turn signals.

One minute I was signaling left, the next i was signaling right, then left again.. the damn thing would not turn off.

Look here speed racer, we all share the road. If speed limit is 65, 99% of the time im going with the flow of traffic and is going 80mph. If you are doing a 100 coming up on my ass and start flashing ur high beams as if i'm crawling, i'm gonna slam my brakes...

What you experience during a EU delivery is that Europeans drive much more professional than we do in the colonies!

Common driving sense.

Unless you have sirens and lights flashing, i'm just gonna go ahead and go with the flow of traffic...i pay my taxes, i have every right to drive on that road as much as you do.

People in America aren't as smart when it comes to driving in the left lane as they are in Europe. They don't realize going slow in the left lane can cause accidents or cause delay's. I see people going just 5-10mph over the speed limit on the beltway here in the left lane and just get so mad as the right lanes are going faster!! If someone flashes your lights as they are coming up to you take a second and move over, at least they are letting you know they are coming and not flying straight at you only to swerve around you endangering everyone. Why be an ass about it??

Being somewhat older, I find it increasingly difficult to turn my head to check for traffic. So it just makes sense to stay in the left lane. With the cruise control set at 52, I don't need to change it because I'm not coming up behind a lot of traffic. The turn signal is a problem, as noted above, but I've solved it just by leaving the right-hand turn signal on. I've noticed that this helps keep people out of my way.

NOTE TO MYSELF: Install a siren to my e92 when it arrives so I can have Spool move to the right

If i were to drive speed limit on the left lane then yea i'd be a cock. But i'm doing 15mph over speed limit which is what the flow of traffic is doing most of the time, i think it's fair for me to be on that left lane.

This does not help the situation at all and you should not be traveling in the left lane - it is for passing. We have "flash to pass" in our cars for a good reason and the Europeans use it correctly - so should we. Why do you have to put up a fight about it when someone flashes you? Why do you even care? A license is not a right, it's a privilege and just because you pay your taxes doesn't give you the right to hinder others' progress on the highway - no matter what you think the reason may be for someone wanting to pass you. It's not your job to control the speed in the left lane - it's there for you to use to pass others. Perhaps that person behind you who is flashing just got an emergency call that one of his kids is seriously hurt and he's rushing home - you just never know and it should not be your call to judge what the person behind you is flashing for - just let him go and you might even be helping someone in an emergency situation. Please, I hope you reconsider your response in this situation...

Spool -- how would you feel if I told you that, the car that was flashing its lights on you, had a passanger that was shot in the chest and they were trying to get him to the nearest ER as soon as they can, died because you slowed them by 2 min.?
