Who the hell is that?!?!

For various reasons I shaved off the beard and 'stache this morning. I have two weeks off, so I can always grow it back before returning to work.

But what a shock. I look totally different. The beard has been around for about 20 years, but the 'stache has been a permanent fixture since '77. Now it looks like my mouth is much lower on my face because of all the visible skin between my nose and mouth. My beard was all white and the 'stache was mixed, so Wifey says I just lost 15 years of aging. So maybe it's a good thing. I'm not sold on it yet, though.

I need to learn to shave more carefully around my mouth now, too. I look like I had a run in with a chainsaw.

Im doing the opposite. Growing out all my facial hair. Everyone keeps telling me I look older.

I'll probably shave it by the time I get back from MI. Need to keep looking as young as possible before I turn out like some of you guys.

I had my lip covered almost as long. I regularly grew the fu wings and only trimmed them at thanksgiving to just at my jaw line. Even had beads put in when I went on vacation

Then I shaved it all one day. I looked in the mirror and saw one of those zombies from the Will Smith movie. It lasted about 2 months but I'm back to normal now

Glad I qualify because my beard has way too much gray in it! Don't have one all the time, grow it every couple of years for the hell of it. I'll probably shave it after Xmas as keeping it trimmed is actually more of a pain than just shaving! Suppose I could just let it grow al la Duck Dynasty but not me...
