Fun night!

Hit a pothole on the highway last night. Took a chunk out of the tire. Instant flat. Lambos don't come with a spare tire. Just a can of Fix-A-Flat which I used to no avail. It all jetted out of the hole in the sidewall and got all over me. Limped it to a gas station, called AAA. Took 2 hours to get it on the flat bed due to how low it was. Also, there are no visible jacking points under the car so we couldn't use a jack to lift it up. Quite a spectacle

Glad you are not hurt - being stranded on the side of highways at nights scares me. Which Highway was it?

Maybe it is time for some 50 profile run flats for your Gallardo.

damn ... reminds me of the time when I got a flat on my integra.. ran over some metal bar on the highway..shredded my right rear tire. I was on I5 near ventura @ 3 in the morning. I'm telling you cingular 411 is useless when you needed to find a tow truck around the area. So they had to truck my car back to seal beach with me and my friend sitting in the car on the truck bed cause the driver didn't have enough room for all 4 of us. It was one long and bumpy ass ride back ... its costed me 300 bucks too.

it took them so long to send out a towing truck, not because it was so low and did not have jacking points, but because they were looking to find a matching color truck

so howd you get the car up? doesnt the ferrari have adjustable suspension so u just raise the sucker to get over bumps? or was that still too low?

Update: Progressive Insurance rocks. Adjuster came out today and is writing me a check for new front tires ($750 for both), a new rim ($2000) and an alignment ($350). Unfortunately, the wheel will take 2 weeks to come from Italy. They don't stock them at the Lambo dealership in SF. So the car will be a street ornament until then
