no wonder they haven't created good looking everyday cars. they have been focusing on electronic gizmos from 3rd party companies being integrated into their i8 and i3.

On the new key fob- so funny, why even put buttons on the side? Could have made the fob much smaller if eliminating all buttons and accomplishing all functions via touch screen. Something along the lines of a iPod nano screen, etc. Anyways still very cool!

I purchased 4 BMW's since 2000 because they produced driving machines not electronic toys. I have purchased my last new BMW unless BMW goes back to focusing on cars and leaving the electronics to others.

Somehow it feels that unless you buy into less than a 6/7 series or i8 you are a guinea pig for new technology that feels like a work in progress. So much technology that revolves around the user feels very poorly executed in most of the current BMWs.
Why not just focus on making great cars instead of discovering new verticals. |

When I drove the i3 less is definitely more, it felt as simple and as intuitive as the iPhone. Great concepts and execution. |

This may b innovative but BMW WOULDN'T have the decency to incorporate it in the cost of the car! Just more tech to buy on top of $90,000 dollars to ride in...smh
I will say at least I hope a kit comes out for the laser lights n older cars. Classic M cars that is!

AWESOME stuff from BMW
The only thing I dislike is the fact that these features weren't around before when I was in the market lol

Yes because the Germans and their software (SAP notwithstanding but even it has its expensive moments of shit) /human interfaces have historically sucked- I sell for a German company- and the new Nav system as part of the technology package on my new 435 SUCKS and I dont care how they update it it wont get any better.

BMW has put on quite a production here, just like last year. They have i3s, M235's, X6M's, and even M4s for people to drive. Inside they are featuring the i8 and a few other things. I got to use the new touchscreen NBT navigation system, and it was quite impressive. Here are a few quick shots from my phone of the event here:
