Best Business Credit Cards
I am in search of a credit card to use for business and have narrowed it down to either an AMEX Platinum or the Chase Sapphire Preferred. I know these cards have many different benefits but does anyone have any recommendations (either positive or negative) for either card?
The card will be used primarily for materials (for various projects), client outings and travel. I mostly drive but fly for business 2-3 times/year and fly personally 5-7 times per year. i'm not worried about the annual fee as the company would be covering this. |

I personally use Capital One Spark and Chase INK
Unlimited 2% rewards with Capital One and both offer great tools travel and reward points. Great customer service on both. |

i used to have the amex platinum but couldn't justify the $450 annual fee. i now use the chase sapphire preferred and i love it. you can transfer points 1:1 to a bunch of different hotel and airline programs such as hyatt, united, marriott, etc. i also do alot of shopping through the chase ultimate rewards mall where you can get as much as 10x points from certain merchants (iv gotten 5x points from staples before).
the only thing i really miss with amex is that it is much easier to dispute and win a transaction. |

Fok paying annual fees on a credit card. I don't care what the ski called "perks" are. They already making money on my purchases and transaction fees they charge the merchant. Give me the lowest interest rate card with no hassle rewards on anything I buy!

i would recommend signing up for a loyalty program from hyatt. the 1:1 point transfer is great and you can book a hotel that usually costs 400-500/night for 15k points/night

Thanks, I'll be sure to do that. I am already signed up with Hilton and IHG but a nice hotel room for 15k points is a great deal.

That is another concern I had. Since I work for a small company I don't want the lady who handles accounting to be on my case about late fees and paying off the full balance.

Are these business specific credit cards? Or are these regular credit cards used under the business bank account? Or does each bank vary.

Everyone's definition of expensive can vary though. Some may see something like a new Camry as a cheap POS, while others may see a decent, reliable sedan. Show up in a 3 or 5 series, some may see a sporty, fun sedan while others see an excessive luxury car. If you show up in 'too cheap' of a car, some customers may think, "this company must not be that successful if this is all their employee can afford to drive."

Anyway, I try to stay away from Credit cards as much as possible. Until one day i will find a very valuable reason to own one. Until then, i only buy what i can afford now. Obviously with the exception of big loans such as Tuition, Mortgage or car.
