i8 or NSX

I know this is a BMW forum, but if you have to pick between these 2 cars, which one would you prefer for around $150k?

If money were no factor, the NSX.

Best looking car Acura has come out with since....well since the original NSX.

NSX, hands down.

I have no interest in a German car with a whole host of unnecessary electronic parts controls and systems to fail. LOL

Congratulations to them for working the system and trying to get around CAFE, but it's a pointless and ultimately destructive technology fad that needs to go away.

I mean, if we're just picking off list at that price range, 911 4 GTS.....easiest choice ever.

Neither...at this point. There are rumblings that BMW is making a more powerful i8. I'd wait for that. The new NSX is just a project failure.

18 month waiting list for the i8, so.... I'd go with a 911 or some sort of used ferrari.

I gave up a '94 NSX for my '01 330xi. I really needed the 4 seats and AWD. Although I really liked the NSX, the ride was wearing on me. Every once in a while I miss it: it was jewel-like in it's build quality, and so very precise in it's actions.

Although the i8 is a killer car, I doubt that the quality will be as good as the new NSX, nor do I believe that it will have quite the performance.

One thing, though. The i8 is AWD - put snows on it and I wouldn't have to put chains on it to go over the passes here in WA.

NSX. I drove one in 1994 and I've wanted one ever since. I'll never have it...my job will never provide funds of that sort, but if I was able to choose it would always be the NSX or a 911 Turbo or some such. Those two have been my dream cars for way too long.
