A visit to the BMW Welt...
It has been a while since I posted pictures of the BMW Welt. The Welt is under new management... and I really like that they are now changing out the cars and exhibits more frequently than before.
Some of the display areas have changed since last time I showed you the BMW Welt. Btw the BMW Welt is Germany's number one tourist attraction - for a second running year! Number two is THE (Neuschwanstein)Castle... where everyone seems to go right after delivery! So I don't think the Welt needs much explanation here, so I will let my pics do the talking for me. Enjoy, Dackel The Welt now offers custom engraving... you can even bring your own photo file on a USB stick and they will make you a engraving while you wait! options for custom glass engraving...

Only on the M4's! The M3's have a steel trunk lid.

Its good to see more customers going for the Active/Gran Tourer.
So far they represent 70% of total 2er sales globally.

We visited the Welt in June. It was so exciting we could not take it all in with one visit. Your pictures brought us back to the fond memories of the delivery.
I cannot imagine why anyone would not take delivery at the Welt! |

I have just came back from a visit to The Welt and the museum. I was disappointed.
The Welt is just a Super Dealership Showroom... Show all the new cars, they have a few bmw stores for shirts and toys, they have a couple of restaurants. The good thing is that it is free to go in (except for parking). If i would have been there for a European Delivery, then it would make much more sense. The BMW Museum is better, at a cost of 10 euros, it's worth it. But it is great if you are a BMW fanboy. It is good if you are a automobile fan... but it is not so good if you are neither one of those. The architecture of the buildings are quite nice though |
