Back in highschool I had a mutual friend among my inner circle of freinds at the time, and this kid was always working hard, studying day in and day out, could never come and hang out w/ us EVER. Today I saw a close friend of mine, one of his best freinds who informed me of this guy(current UCLA student, set to graduate spring 07') has been working at a pretty big Finance/Acct. firm throughout his years attending UCLA which also has a branch in N.Y. his brother works at. Anyways, the kid now has been gauranteed a job(out of college) that will sallary him starting at $120k a year!!!! That's almost unheard of for kids my age. Just goes to show hard work and a good network can pay back in a very big way. I'm happy for this kid!
