Cool Porsche GT3 (991) - 200 mph fly by on the Autobahn

So as many as you know I test cars. I recently tested the 991 Porsche GT3 and am currently working on a review which I plan to post in November. Here is a little something to get people excited for some amazing footage we captured.

Enjoy! Btw I am going over 200 mph here!

You're traveling the length of an American football field every second at that speed.

We're you able to text the old lady and tell her you'd be home early for dinner?

Haha no. Up to 150 mph it's okay, but at 200 mph you should not play with your phone

It feels fantastic! Just like the GT3 RS 4.0 I drove back in 2011, the faster you go, the safer you feel.

Claimed top speed is 315 km/h (195.7 mph). But that's GPS speed of course.

So how much was this clock 327km/h on the gps?

GPS is always extremely accurate (accurate to 0,1km/h)

No no this is just 327 km/h indicated. Not GPS. I got the car to 340 km/h indicated however which surely is over the 315 km/h GPS speed claimed by Porsche.

Ya, it is. Especially if you know which roads are the best for doing this. For example around Munich we have the A95, the A92 and this B17. All are great for high speed runs.

Insane. Lots of aero to drag it down...surprised it can go that fast. High revving ftw.

Yeah right? I mean I got the GT3 RS 4.0 to 331 km/h and that was completely maxed out. But I think the 7th ratio of the new GT3 makes the difference. Yes the 4.0 has more aero drag probably but it also has more power.
