Cool Tiff Needell: M5=Maclaren F1, new RS6=Veyron.

I'm sure it'll be on youtube soon. Here's what he said basically:

- RS6 is subtle in it's design, no "boy racer" look
- power delivery is amazing.
- very impressive engine.
- enjoyed it around the track.
- said the M5 was the Maclaren F1, but RS6 is the Veyron

I cant remember everything but that's mostly it. It was a short review. For those who havent seen it I'll post youtube links when I find it.

As a man who places practically over everything else I prefer the RS6 over the M5Touring, the looks alone sell it to me but the fact that it's awd and will have no problems what so ever using every bit of those horses all of the time is the thing that seals it for me.

Plus as an engine it has the M5 licked.

I agree with you there. Tiff also said you feel the weight of the car through slower corners but it's more "alive" in faster corners with a little oversteer. He said it's more fun than he expected it to be even though not the perfect track car.

I just wish we got some laptimes or even a more detailed comparison to the M5. I hate when Fifth Gear do 5 minute reviews. It's really annoying. They did it with the GTR last night aswell.

I am looking forward to the new season of TopGear, hopefully they will test both cars and give them decent air time. Though I bet old Stiggie will prefer to spent most of his time in the GTR, it would be my choice for a day though not necessarily as my daily drive, for that I reckon the RS6 would win that decision easily.

The car did not look that fast on the track. Not very agile.

I can hardly wait to see the rs6 sedan vs M5 sedan comparison on the track.

I love it, but I'd rather have a sedan. I have absolutely nothing against wagons, but I'd almost always pick a four door/two door if given the choice.
