Sat in an E63 about a week ago, wish I could have driven in it, but it was all cleaned up and on the showroom floor. Damn, the interior is in a good way. |

i actually had the option of buying a used one for an amazing price but passed on it. i drove it but it was too luxurious, it was fast but its so smooth you dont even feel it. also its very big. it depends what your looking for. i was looking for a sports car. it is an amazing car though dont get me wrong it all depends on your style. sounds great though!

Yep. Spypics look promising. I really like the current E, especially the facelift. Not sure about the facelifted rear lights, but I really like the angular finish they give to the nose. It gives a more sporty look instead of the luxurious image that it used to have. Cant wait to see new E class.

Did they fix the way it drives? Drove an E55..worst steering feel I have ever experienced..I really didn't know what was going on with the front tires. Brakes were good but really offered no feedback.

The brakes are definitely numb, though. Due in part (actually whole) to the electronic brake by wire system. Edit: what year was the E55 you drove? Ours is an 06 and from what I understand, there were gradual improvements through each production year. I've driven an E63 and both your concerns have been addressed. No more brake by wire and more communicative steering. Too bad the car's a tad slower than the E55 it replaced. |
