Thumbs up Looks Like I'll Be Hanging Out Around Here More Often

I sold my M4 last week (I frequented the F8x subforum more often than here despite also having an F15 w/MPPK & MPE) and picked up this beauty...

2016 Jaguar F-Type Coupe R
Let's hope it's on the road more than in the shop

***Strange how the Mods took it upon themselves to move this Thread from the F15 subforum when clearly I noted above how I currently own an F15 w/MPPK & MPE and was simply saying I'll be hanging out more in the F15 subforum...Big Brotha is always watching here...***

Beautiful, love the F-type R, what made you give up the M4?

Thanks!
My mental health disorder--European Car ADHD--Predominately BMW Type

I admit I have a problem, and around the 1.5 yr mark, I get the itch for something else. Typically, this involves getting into another BMW. I'm a BMW Fanboy and imagine I always will be. But after 11 straight BMWs in the past 12 years, they all began to blend together.

The M4 with the S55 was one of my favorite. Overall, it was awesome (then why get rid of it?). But I just wanted to try something different for a change.
New Year's Day I made the "mistake" and test drove the Jag, and I couldn't stop thinking about it!!! Had a ridiculous amount of positive equity in the M, and the current incentives Jag is offering is crazy, so I made the jump.

Always found the F Coupe to be a beaut. Sadly not good utility for me at the moment with only garaging for one vehicle.

This vehicle is my mothers daily, and o boy!... i drive it all the time and it is a riot!!!! way to much power for the slick run flats....in the rain you best be careful!! wish i could get the four wheel drive version. by far could be the most fun two door available, it slips and slides in such a way that it drags your jaw to the floor in excitement

Isn't equipped with runflats (P-Zeros)...mobility kit just like with my M. RWD R versions (2015 MY only here) are definitely squirrely. I have the AWD R and it keeps the 550/502 in check

if i could do a two door coupe...and comfortably fit with good visibility, i wouldnt mind that as an option. the R in AWD is exactly what it needed. i recently read up on the new model with AWD and its just a beast.... with the power, you could throw that thing around a track like no ones business. i just disagree with the design change for the sideskirts. to much of the flare down low

its funny how you can add weight while increasing performance with the same power.

Yeah, I hardly if ever used my back seat in the M4

Thanks. If only the weather would cooperate, I could drive her some more. She's all cleaned up, and I hate the idea of getting her filthy--especially in the winter when there are only a handful of days I can actually hand wash her myself.

Awesome car. I want one SO bad. Don't get a complex about it. I swear to GOD every time I'm at the BMW Dealer here (way too often) I see only middle aged women crawling out of\into their M4's.

Let's see...

1. Sold M4
2. Bought F Type R
3. ADD-fueled laundry list of previous cars
4. "Kief"

Nice ride! Although be prepared for some ribbing from the young 944 enthusiast... ;-)

I won't bore you guys with a video of the sound. Those of us who know about this car have probably already experienced the sound
