Cool Anyone Use An Air Purifier At Home?

my family is thinking of buying one but we want to leave it in the kitchen to get rid of smell. all the air purifiers i look at it doesn't mention anything about eliminating smell just cleaning the air, dust, fung, etc. there is febreeze but we want something that is always on in the kitchen.

so do these air purifiers get rid of smell? what do you guys use and how do you like it? im looking for an energy efficient yet quiet. so far im looking at http://www.oreck.com/air-purifiers/x...m?tab=overview or http://www.sharperimage.com/us/en/ca.../sku__SI724GRY

They do get rid of smell. When it gets rid of say, the dust, or whatever, it leaves a sort of fresh, strange smell that remotely resembles pine trees. If you want to just eliminate smell you may want to think about Febreze or an air freshener of some sort.
