what kind of car is this?

This is Pedro Martinez's car at Mets training camp in Florida, but what kind of car is it? Hard to tell from just the front quarter panel and custom wheels. Jag? Aston?

It could be an Aston Martin DB9 Volante. Easier if you can see the whole car. Looking at the fender line by the mirror, I think it's probably the DB9.

yeah i would lean more toward the DB9, its just that reflector is throwing me in the original pic.

It's a DB R1, Aston Martin. I was confused for a while because the side vents look quite new as seen on the DB9 and AMV8 etc, but the door handles dont look like a new model! The general shape of the body didnt look like something new either.

Here we go anyway, the 2003 DB R1:

I'd doubt it's a DB AR1 (I assume you meant that) as that is extremely rare (not that that's beyond his reach, but I can't see someone regularly taking a car that's one of 99 examples to work everyday) and the interior looks nothing like that and also lacks the hood vents present on this car. Plus, the previous Astons had huge fog/driving lights up front.

However, the vents (both side and hood) do match the DB9 if you note that the chrome accent continues onto the door skin for a couple of inches. The prior generation did not do that. Can't remark about the handles because there's not enough contrast for me to tell. Why couldn't his car have been white or something?

Then it would be easy. Actually, being able to see the taillights would really make it easy.

Damn. What was I thinking, the AR1 is very rare. I didnt even check who the owner was. Also, I completely dismissed the Vanquish. I brightened it up to have a better look and yeah it looks like a Vanquish:

I thought DB7 but I've always remembered the chrome handles on the DB7 and knew it wasnt that. Hmmm...
