Apartment holiday homes for a month

Hi all, after leaving the US to South Africa for 3 years i am back to visit but this time with 2 more kiddies.
My house now in Coppell have tenants so i have no where to stay

I am looking for an apartment type rental for 1 month, is there any website i could use for this type of rentals?

I know of airbnb that i have used twice before but honestly the experience wasn't that great. i do feel that the owners are not as honest as what is displayed on the website.

my 'home base' will be in Dallas area if it will help
dates are now set for 08/11 to 09/11 2016

What part of the country are you looking to stay? I remember seeing embassy suites(part of Hilton) - being an apt type hotel. Maybe try them.

I've heard many good things about VRBO, but have never tried myself.

Are you set on continuing to rent out the house? If you wish to move back in eventually, you could offer your tenants some sort of early buy out of their lease.
